Welcome to alopecia-information.com, over the last 7 years I have lived with alopecia and have been effected by the disease with loss of hair and at times a very itchy scalp. At the same time I have always felt lucky I have not been effected by a more sever disease that could effect my health in a more sever and negative way.

I hope this information brought forward by this site helps those that have just become diagnosed with alopecia as well as those that have lived with this "hair loss problem" for some time. While most people think baldness is a male problem alopecia has also been linked to female baldness, dogs, cats as well as other animals.
