Avoid Hair Care “Centers” - Alopecia - Talk To Your Doctor

Scammers have always taken advantage of those with hair loss and or alopecia, news out of Asia this week suggests that the schemers are now becoming more sophisticated and opening “hair loss centers”. These so called centers for hair loss entice people suffering from alopecia or other hair loss diseases to join their programs with hopes and promises of hair regrowth. It has become a major problem of late in Singapore where the consumer association says it has received 17 complaints against these hair care centres in the first half of this year.

To try to educate the public about these schemes CASE will be conducting a session which will be open to the public this August (August 6) at the auditorium at Bukit Merah Central. The meeting will focus on types of hair loss diseases and factors that can affect ones hair. The open forum will also stress the fact that the best person to see about any recent hair loss would be a Doctor (a Dermatologist is best). If you live near Singapore you can call the Hair Line 1-800-338-3838 for information about male pattern baldness and resources that are available.
