Today in Minnesota (home of your admin here at the site) the weather is really hot and I heard some women talking about cutting thier long hair, right away I started thinking about Locks Of Love For Alopecia and knew I would post another message about this great group when I got home 
Our hero above is Monika Perry, a member of the 1st Communications Squadron for fire fighters, was going to cut her hair when a co-worker mentioned the program. “It’s the right thing to do,” she said. “It’s also nice to know my hair will make someone happy instead of ending up on a salon floor to be swept up and thrown away” said Perry.

hi,
i just cut about 9-10 inches off. would like to donate it. i have some natural wave and medium brown, no color or anything else in hair.and being a month away from 58 i have no gray hair. i can send a pic of the piece if you like. everytime i brushed i had some fill the brush so i cut this this morning. have been growing hair for year and half for this purpose. i have some friends wearing wigs after kemo and wanted to do this.
